Are you a grateful person? Do you practice gratefulness? Do you believe that what you put out is what you will get in return? Do you think that others are a reflection of you?
These are a few questions that can make you think about a few things….. I firmly believe that what you put out is what you get back, you can look at this across many different avenues of your life and business, and it's the same with being grateful.
Being grateful is like a superpower. Yes, it's a straightforward concept, and I am sure you have heard it all before, but I challenge you to a 10-day challenge with yourself. Each day, take 2 minutes and think of 10 things you are grateful for. It will lift your spirits and start to appreciate more throughout your day.
There are four main key points of being grateful:
Being grateful shifts the attention from toxic emotions. If we use more positive language and positive internal thoughts, it helps with long-term mental health.
It helps even if you don't share it. Just taking the time to think about five things you are grateful for raises your consciousness and helps to remind us what is essential.
Gratitude takes time. Life is about habits, and if we can get into an excellent grateful routine slowly, over time, we will see the benefits. There is no quick fix in life, and we must work on all areas to live a better life.
It has lasting effects on the brain. It has been proven that those with a grateful mindset are happier and lead a life based on service and contribution rather than a negative internal dialog.
Are you grateful for your team and your customers? Do you show appreciation? If not, how can you? What can you do for them to say thanks?
